I'd heard of the store, but had no idea it was anything like that--must have really been something, in it's hey-day. &lt;br&gt;

i was dispatching in the 90's.&lt;br&gt;
only nutters i saw were car drivers and suicidal pedestrians.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
ur right about selfridges.&lt;br&gt;
london is full of magnificent architecture and history.&lt;br&gt;
one of the main reasons i came to live here.&lt;br&gt;

Alot of friends used to be dispatch riders in the 80's. A lot of them got hurt, some quite badly, doing that job in London. &lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
Spilled diesel is the enemy. As they used to say. &lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
That and "Ride Hard - Drink Soup" But that was in the winter. Bunch of nutters they were.&lt;br&gt;
